Sweet ‘n Savory

Yield: 1 sandwich

Why settle for sweet or savory when you can have both? Pair a cinnamon raisin bagel with fig preserves, goat cheese, arugula and a drizzle of honey. Crumble some extra goat cheese on top for dramatic presentation, and a sprinkle of flaky sea salt if you wish.


  • 1 cinnamon raisin bagel
  • 1 tablespoon fig preserves
  • 1 package goat cheese
  • 1 handful arugula
  • Drizzle of honey


  • Slice the bagel in half and smear each half with the fig preserves. Spread the goat cheese on top, then layer the arugula on top. Drizzle honey over it, and top with extra goat cheese if you wish.
