Geltini Related:   desserts & sweets, drinks, gluten-free, Hanukkah, pareve, vegetarian

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: None

Yield: 1 cocktail

This cocktail has “grown-up Chanukah” written all over it: potato vodka takes the place of latkes while rich chocolate liqueur and edible gold leaf flakes stand in as sophisticated gelt for the 21-plus set. For a single cocktail, use one ounce for each part; otherwise, double, triple, quadruple—or more!—to serve a crowd.

  • Ice
  • 2 parts potato vodka
  • 1 part crème de cacao
  • 1 part Godiva Dark Chocolate liqueur
  • Cocoa powder for garnish
  • Edible gold leaf flakes for garnish

  • Dip the rim of a martini glass into water (no more than a quarter inch). Then dip the rim into the cocoa powder.
  • In a mixing glass, add ice, vodka, crème de cacao and Godiva liqueur and stir. Strain the drink into the glass. Sprinkle gold leaf into the drink and serve.
