Grab a spoon and join Federation’s Jewish Food Experience® as we tour Susan Soorenko’s exceptional ice cream factory. Learn about Moorenko’s ice cream-making ideology, using the highest quality, natural products to create a simply delicious dessert. We’ll see how ice cream is made, learn how to determine if an ice cream is worth the price and employ proper tasting techniques. Additionally, Federation’s master teacher, Avi West, will share how dairy became associated with the holiday of Shavuot. Best of all: take home your own pint to share (or keep for yourself)!
