Israeli Cooking Workshop
*This workshop is conducted entirely in Hebrew.
Food is a bridge, an opening to an entire culture, a way to gather people and open hearts. Festive family gatherings marking holidays and life cycle events take place around the table. The Israeli food tradition is rich with symbolism and meaning. At every session of this workshop, we will present a unique approach to the Israeli kitchen. We will cook together and sit together for a meal around the table. We will research the culinary history of Israel and we will go home with many recipes. The goal of the workshop is good cooking (that is not too complicated), speaking Hebrew and building community through food. The workshop consists of 6 sessions and is open to men and women. Space is limited to 15 participants. The cost is $150 which includes a 2.5 hour class with supplies and meal.
Once per month, 7-9:30. Location will be sent with registration.
