Havdalah is a fun experience for the senses and for families. Celebrate the end of Shabbat together with an outdoor, sensory Havdalah experience. Together we will play, snack, read and make Shabbat-friendly crafts, then enjoy a delightful Havdalah ceremony to welcome the new week.
RSVP requested by November 17.
This event will be at Stead Park. If it is raining that day, the event will be cancelled. Please check FB for updates if you’re unsure.
The traditional Havdalah ceremony marks the symbolic end of Shabbat and ushers in the new week. The ritual involves lighting a special Havdalah candle with several wicks, blessing a cup of wine or grape juice and smelling sweet spices.
