About the Author

Alex LevinAfter graduating from Yale and working in finance and event planning, Alex Levin decided to leave corporate America and attend the Culinary Institute of America to follow his passion in pastry. He then trained in New York under industry-leading pastry chefs. In the fall of 2013, Levin was tapped by Michael White to serve as Pastry Chef of DC’s Osteria Morini, and in 2015 he was promoted to Executive Pastry Chef. In 2017 he joined Schlow Restaurant Group as Executive Pastry Chef.
