Simcha Sour

Yield: 1 cocktail

This is a new signature cocktail created by the bartenders at Artisan Well in St. Louis for the Jewish Federation of St. Louis’ “The Three Cs of Hosting: Class, Cooking and Cocktails,” the event launching the Jewish Food Experience® in St. Louis.


  • 1½ ounces gin (Broker’s or gin of your choice)
  • 1 ounce blackberry syrup
  • ½ ounce fresh lime juice
  • Ice
  • Rosemary sprig for garnish


  • Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake for 30 seconds. Pour or strain into glass. Brush the rosemary across your wrist to release the smell and add to cocktail as a garnish.
