With a trio of young daughters running through the house, Passover snacks pose a challenge. This year, I want simple. I want fast. I want easy. And, of course, I want delicious. Enter the Passover savior: nuts and chocolate. These chocolate-nut clusters are so effortless that you’ll want to make them all year long. Go ahead: they’re good for you, too!

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Dash cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup roasted, salted almonds (or your favorite nut)
  • ½ cup raisins (or your favorite dried fruit)
  • ½ cup coconut flakes

Preparation

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Melt the chocolate in a large bowl in the microwave in 30-second intervals so it doesn’t burn. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Scoop the mixture with a tablespoon onto the prepared baking sheet. Put in the refrigerator to set and cool. These keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for a week—but they never last that long in my house!
