Bourbon Pecan Tartlets

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 20–30 minutes

Yield: 8 servings


  • 8 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups dark corn syrup (such as Karo)
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 8 ounces butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons bourbon
  • 8-10 pre-baked tartlet shells (3½-4 inches wide)
  • 2 cups pecan halves


  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. In a bowl, combine eggs, vanilla, corn syrup, sugar and flour. Whisk until combined. Stir in butter and bourbon; mix well.
  • Place shells on a sheet pan; divide nuts evenly into shells, pour filling over nuts and bake until a little puffy and center is set (about 20 to 30 minutes). The tartlets will collapse after removing from oven to their original level.
