Taste the High Holidays

Visitors at Moti’s Market in Rockville, MD, on Sunday, September 11, 2016 were in for a treat. Throughout the day, the Jewish Food Experience® along with Moti’s Market, Carmel Caterers and Al Ha’esh Israeli Grill hosted “Taste the High Holidays,” giving visitors a chance to stop by, schmooze and sample unique foods and wines for the High Holidays from local cookbook authors and foodies. Some of the highlights were: Chocolate Babka Bites from Paula Shoyer, Cold Beet Soup from Danielle Crittenden Frum, Eggplant Caponata from Marcia Friedman, Israeli Salad with Tahini Lemon Dressing from Aviva Goldfarb, Walnut and Red Pepper Dip from Sheilah Kaufman, Soup Sips from Richie Tassiello and wine tasting with Michael Gelven, Certified Wine Educator.
