Join Federation’s Jewish Food Experience® as we make a meaningful difference at Common Good City Farm, a nonprofit whose mission is to grow food, educate, and help low-income DC community members meet their food needs. On Sunday, August 7th, we’ll be volunteering outdoors to harvest, weed and plant, while learning more about sustainable agriculture.

Leib Kaminsky will be joining us to help facilitate conversations about how sustainability is a Jewish value. Leib is a  DC Native and has been engaging community groups in environmental education for 25 years and has extensive experience working with Jewish organizations and environmental programs.
