Sensory Friendly Purim

Multiple locations around Greater Washington
Sunday, March 12, 2017
10:30 AM — 3:00 PM
United States

Offered with partners in three locations, this authentic Purim experience is accessible for all families who would like to celebrate Purim in a quieter way. We will minimize the noise and other sensory input, but maximize the fun! There will be crafts, an interactive reading of the Purim story (megillah), quiet areas to take a break, a mitzvah (good deed) project and treats to take home.

This program is brought to you by The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington, PJ Library in Greater Washington, Congregation B’nai Tzedek, Congregation Olam Tikvah, and Federation’s Jewish Food Experience®.

Best for Kindergarten-Grade 4

Congregation B’nai Tzedek (Potomac, MD) @ 1:30 p.m.
Congregation Olam Tikvah (Fairfax, VA) @ 1:30 p.m.
