Embrace your inner environmentalist by joining 6th in the City for a Tu b’Shevat celebration. Tu b’Shevat, traditionally known as the New Year of the Trees, is a time to think about relating to the natural world and connecting with our spiritual selves. This holiday is celebrated by planting trees, eating fruits, and having a Tu b’Shevat seder, a ritual that began with the Kabbalists of the 16th Century.

At the seder, you’ll have a chance to eat local fruits and nuts, drink four cups of wine, learn a little bit of Kabbalah, study nature-inspired texts, and discover connections between environmentalism and Judaism.

$15 in advance; $18 day of seder

*For those in their 20s and 30s.

Cost: $15
