When it comes to cooking for the Passover seders, tradition is paramount. But there is still plenty of room to get creative – particularly with salads, side dishes, and desserts! Join eLEVate (Beth Sholom’s Center for Jewish Engagement) and the Beth Sholom Sisterhood for a fun and interactive afternoon focused on making the most of your Passover meals. The event begins with delicious nosh and a primer on the Jewish laws of the Passover Kitchen with Maharat Fruchter. Then, join two renowned Jewish cookbook authors, Leah Koenig (Modern Jewish Cooking, Little Book of Jewish Appetizers) and Paula Shoyer (Healthy Jewish Kitchen, The Kosher Baker), for a fun and interactive (tasting) culinary demonstration. You’ll walk out with everything you need to know to create a delicious (and kosher!) Passover. Leah and Paula will sell and sign cookbooks after the event.
