Stress–Taming Green Smoothie
Like many of us, I have a mixed bag of eaters in my house. It is important to me that we all eat our vegetables, and adding dark leafy greens to smoothies has been a big hit even with my pickiest eaters.
- ⅓–½ medium avocado
- ½ medium banana
- 2–3 small strawberries
- 1 cup greens of choice, such as spinach, bok choy, swiss chard, kale or baby kale
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- Pinch of cinnamon or 1–2 drops plain stevia (optional)
- Wash produce, and place in a high-speed blender. Add almond milk, and blend until you reach a smooth consistency. Add cinnamon and/or stevia if needed for added sweetness.
